Edita da Tachyon Publications, la raccolta comprende venti racconti pubblicati tra il 2003 e il 2017, testimonianza del talento e dell’originalità della scrittrice irlandese, nota soprattutto per il romanzo The Drowning Girl.
Tra le varie tematiche presenti, centrale in molti racconti l’elemento dell’acqua, come in “Andromeda Among the Stones”, “Houses Under the Sea” (“Case sotto il mare”, Hypnos 08), “The Mermaid of the Concrete Ocean” e “Tidal Forces”.
It is already available in digital edition, and soon onFebruary 19th in paper edition, The Very Best of Caitlín R. Kiernan, the new collection by one of the most important contemporary writers of modern weird and fantastic literature.

Edizioni Hypnos annuncia la prossima pubblicazione del nuovo numero della rivista Hypnos Magazine, prevista per la seconda metà di settembre.
Hypnos 8 conterrà ben otto racconti inediti di autori internazionali e italiani: si passa dalla regina del weird contemporaneo Caitlín R. Kiernan alla talentuosa Kij Johnson, della quale la casa editrice milanese ha già pubblicato il bellissimo romanzo breve intitolato La ricerca onirica di Vellitt Boe, senza dimenticare il vulcanico T.E. Grau per poi tornare sui classici con John Meade Falkner e Heinrich Clauren. Edizioni Hypnos announced the new issue of Hypnos Magazine, Hypnos 8, with a rich choice of short stories ranging from Caitlín R. Kiernan and Kij Johnson to T.E. Grau, John Meade Falkner, Heinrich Clauren and Italian writers like Cristiano Demicheli, Giulia Massini, Massimo Soumaré. This issue will feature also two essays on the works of E.A. I finalisti dei Bram Stoker Awards 2017
La Horror Writers Association ha annunciato i finalisti dell’edizione 2017 dei Bram Stoker Awards, per le migliori opere di letteratura horror e dark fantasy.
La premiazione avverrà il 3 marzo, durante l’annuale StokerCon che si terrà dall’ 1al 4 marzo allo storico Baltimore Hotel di Providence, Rhode Island.

The Horror Writers Association announced the 2017 Bram Stoker Awards Final Ballot. HWA is the premier organization for writers of horror and dark fantasy.
The presentation of the Bram Stoker Awards will occur during the annual StokerCon at the historical Baltimore Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island, during the gala dinner on March 3rd.
We would like to point out the novels I Wish I Was Like You by S.P. Miskowski and Ubo by Steve Rasnic Tem, the short novel Agents of Dreamland by Caitlín R. Kiernan and the anthology The Beauty of Death Vol. 2: Death by Water, published by Independent Legions and edited by Jodi Renee Lester and Alessandro Manzetti, who is also a finalist with the poetry collection No Mercy.
