Escher a Treviso

Appuntamento a Treviso, per un’immersione nello spazio matematicamente ambiguo di Escher.

Le opere di Maurits Cornelis Escher, incisore e grafico olandese, saranno visibili nella mostra allestita presso il Museo di Santa Caterina a Treviso fino al 3 aprile 2016.

La mostra esplora anche l’influenza di Escher sull’editoria, sulla grafica, sull’oggettistica, per non parlare della pubblicità, della moda, dei fumetti e del cinema: un esempio per tutti, nel giorno della notizia della scomparsa del grande David Bowie, la chiara ispirazione escheriana del capolavoro cinematografico Labyrinth-Dove tutto è possibile, in cui un affascinante Bowie, Re dei Goblin, attraversa gli spazi impossibili dell’Artista olandese.

Escher’s works had a great influence on many aspects of our culture, from publishing, graphics, fashion, comics, advertising and movies: for example, in David Bowie’s movie Labyrinth-Where everything seems possible, where the King of Goblins, Jareth, dances in the impossible spaces made by Escher, even today, when we are saddened by the new of the death of the White Duke.

Weird music: Blackstar di David Bowie

Il Duca Bianco, la rockstar britannica David Bowie, ha reso pubblico due giorni fa il suo ultimo video, “Blackstar”, dalle marcate atmosfere weird e surreali.

Il video, che anticipa l’album con il medesimo nome in uscita il prossimo 8 gennaio, giorno del compleanno dell’artista, è quasi un corto musicato di 10 minuti, diretto dal regista della serie TV The Last Panthers, Johan Renck.

The White Duke, the british rockstar David Bowie, just shared his new videoclip, “Blackstar”, full with a surreal and weird atmosphere.

The videoclip, with the same name of the album to be released on January 8th, Bowie’s birthday, is ten minutes long and is directed by Johan Renck, from the TV serie The Last Panthers.
