Il Nero Visibile di Ballingrud su Netflix
Disponibile su Netflix il film horror “Wounds” del regista Babak Anvari, prodotto da Annapurna Pictures, Two & Two Pictures e AZA Film e presentato al Sundance Film Festival, al Festival di Cannes all’interno della Quinzaine des Réalisateurs e al BFI London Film Festival prima di approdare sulla piattaforma di streaming.
Il film è tratto dal romanzo breve di Nathan Ballingrud Il Nero visibile, pubblicato in Italia da Edizioni Hypnos per la collana Visioni.

Wounds: Six Stories from the Border of Hell è la nuova raccolta di racconti di Nathan Ballingrud, dopo il successo della sua prima raccolta, North American Lake Monsters.
Wounds conterrà sei storie, tra cui The Visible Filth, il romanzo breve pubblicato in Italia da Edizioni Hypnos con il titolo Il nero visibile, dalla cui vicenda è stato tratto il film Wounds, per la regia di Babak Anvari, presentato lo scorso gennaio al Sundance Festival e in programmazione su Netflix a partire dal 29 marzo.
Wounds, pubblicato dalla Saga Press, sarà disponibile in versione sia cartacea che digitale, a partire dal 9 aprile.

Wounds: Six Stories from the Border of Hell is the new collection of stories by Nathan Ballingrud, after the success of his first collection, North American Lake Monsters. Wounds will contain six horror stories, including the novella The Visble Filth, published in Italian by Edizioni Hypnos with the title Il nero visibile, the basis of the movie Wounds, directed by Babak Anvari, premiered at the Sundance Festival and scheduled on Netflix From March 29th. Wounds, published by Saga Press, will be available in paper and digital edition from April 9th.

Il Nero Visibile di Ballingrud al cinema
Brad William Henke (Orange Is The New Black) e Karl Glusman (Nocturnal Animals) si sono uniti a Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson e Zazie Beetz nel progetto cinematografico ancora senza titolo di Babak Anvari (previsto in uscita per il 2019), basato sul romanzo breve di Nathan Ballingrud The Visible Filth.
Nella storia, un barista di New Orleans vede la sua vita sconvolta da una serie di inspiegabili e inquietanti eventi dopo aver ritrovato un cellulare nel suo bar.
Il romanzo di Ballingrud è stato pubblicato in Italia da Edizioni Hypnos con il titolo Il Nero Visibile, nella collana Visioni.
Brad William Henke (Orange Is The New Black) and Karl Glusman (Nocturnal Animals) have joined Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson, and Zazie Beetz in the yet to be titled Babak Anvari movie project (to be released in 2019), based on Nathan Ballingrud’s The Visible Filth.
The story follows a New Orleans bartender who, after picking up a cell phone left behind in his bar, experiences a series of disturbing and inexplicable events begin to unravel his life.
Ballingrud’s novella was published in Italian by Edizioni Hypnos with the title Il Nero Visibile, in the Visioni series.

Richard Thomas, scrittore americano e professore di scrittura creativa all’Università dell’Iowa, ha lanciato su Kickstarter il progetto “Gamut Magazine: Neo-noir, Speculative, Literary Fiction”, per la realizzazione di un sito internet specializzato nella diffusione di letteratura horror, fantastica, fantascientifica, noir e weird.
Come Thomas stesso dichiara nella presentazione del progetto, “qualsiasi cosa prodotta con creatività, cuore ed emozione- questo è ciò che desidero”.
Il progetto prevede la pubblicazione di opere di Autori ben noti nel panorama letterario attuale come Laird Barron, Damien Angelica Walters, Alyssa Wong, Nathan Ballingrud, Ted E. Grau, Livia Llewelyn, Paul Tremblay, John Langan, e molti altri, nonché di Artisti come Luke Spooner, George C. Cotronis, Bob Crum e il nostro italianissimo Daniele Serra!

Richard Thomas, American writer and professor of creative writing at the University of Iowa, Launched on Kickstarter the following project ” Gamut Magazine: Neo-noir, Speculative, Literary Fiction”, for a website focused on fiction, original and reprint, of many genres, like horror, noir, science-fiction, weird and more.
As Thomas says in the description of the aims of the project, the website will show “anything done with innovation, heart and emotion—that’s what I want.”.
Many known Authors already gave verbal committment to allow the (re)print of their work on Gamut, like (just to name a few) Laird Barron, Damien Angelica Walters, Alyssa Wong, Nathan Ballingrud, Ted E.
