Sono stati proclamati sabato 18 aprile durante un evento virtuale sul canale Youtube della Horror Writer Association i vincitori dell’Edizione 2019 dei Bram Stoker Awards. Qui sotto vincitori e finalisti per ogni categoria.

Premio Locus: annunciati i vincitori


Proclamati i vincitori dei Locus Awards, il premio assegnato dalla prestigiosa rivista Focus in base alle segnalazione dei lettori.

Sul versante horror continua a fare incetta di premi Paul Tremblay, che vince con il romanzo The Cabin at the End of the World, già vincitore dello Stoker.

Tra gli altri vincitori il romanzo The Calculating Stars: A Lady Astronaut Novel, di Mary Robinette Kowal, già premio Nebula, e la raccolta How Long ‘til Black Future Month? di N.K. Jemsin, di cui in Italia è stato di recente pubblicato il romanzo La quinta stagione.

The winners of the Locus Awards 2019 have been announced. On the horror side, one more victory for Paul Tremblay with the novel The Cabin at the End of the World, winner also of the Stoker Award. Harper Collins presenta una nuova antologia di Paul Tremblay, Growing Things and Other Stories, diciannove racconti di horror psicologico e paure primordiali del pluripremiato autore di A Head Full of Ghosts e The Cabin at the End of the World.

The Horror Writers Association announced the 2018 Bram Stoker Awards Final Ballot.

Between the finalists, Ted E. Grau, already known by Italian readers for the short story “La missione” published in Hypnos Magazine #8, nominated for his first novel I Am The River, Victor LaValle with the graphic novel Victor LaValle’s Destroyer, and the Italian Alessandro Manzetti with the poetry collection War, in collaboration with Marge Simon.

Hippocampus Press presenta una nuova antologia horror di John Langan, Sefira and Other Betrayals, con introduzione di Paul Tremblay e copertina di Santiago Caruso.

Il volume, in edizione limitata di 500 copie, contiene alcuni racconti già precedentemente pubblicati, una storia inedita, “At Home in the Devil’s House” e il romanzo breve inedito Sefira che dà il titolo all’antologia.

Hippocampus Press presents a new horror collection by John Langan, Sefira and Other Betrayals, with foreword by Paul Tremblay and cover art by Santiago Caruso.

The volume, in limited edition of 500 copies, contains stories previously published in prestigious anthologies, and includes one original novella, Sefira, and an original novelette, “At Home in the Devil’s House”.

I vincitori dei British Fantasy Awards 2017 sono stati annunciati ieri durante la imageFantasyCon2017 a Peterborough, UK.

Congratulazioni a tutti i vincitori! In particolare segnaliamo il Premio come miglior Artista al nostro Daniele Serra, quello per miglior Romanzo Breve a Victor LaValle per “The Ballad of Black Tom”, di recente pubblicato in Italia da Edizioni Hypnos, e quello per miglior Romanzo Horror a Paul Tremblay.
