I finalisti dei Locus Awards 2018

La Locus Science Fiction Foundation ha annunciato la lista dei finalisti per i Locus Awards 2018.

I vincitori saranno proclamati durante il Locus Award Weekend in Seattle, WA, previsto per il 22-24 giugno 2018.

Winners will be announced during the Locus Awards Weekend in Seattle WA, June 22-24, 2018.

Figures Unseen di Steve Rasnic Tem

Valancourt Book9B4F3EC0-CF00-452D-8478-77F2AB8BE89Bs, casa editrice Americana indipendente, ha svelato la copertina del nuovo libro di Steve Rasnic Tem, definito da Dan Simmons “uno degli scrittori di letteratura fantastica più bravi e prolifici del Nord America”. Si tratta di Figures Unseen, previsto per la pubblicazione nel mese di aprile, con introduzione di Simon Strantzas.

Steve Rasnic Tem è già noto ai lettori italiani per il romanzo breve Lovecraft Museum, pubblicato da Edizioni Hypnos nella collana Visioni e per il racconto lungo Dolcetto o Scherzetto a Halloween Street di Delos Digital.

Valancourt Books, the American independent publisher, revealed the cover art for Figures Unseen, the last collection by Steve Rasnic Tem, to be published in April, with foreword by Simon Strantzas.

The Author is already known by Italian readers for his novella Lovecraft Museum, published by Edizioni Hypnos, and the story Dolcetto o scherzetto a Halloween street, published by Delos Digital.

I finalisti dei Bram Stoker Awards 2017

La Horror Writers Association ha annunciato i finalisti dell’edizione 2017 dei Bram Stoker Awards, per le migliori opere di letteratura horror e dark fantasy.

La premiazione avverrà il 3 marzo, durante l’annuale StokerCon che si terrà dall’ 1al 4 marzo allo storico Baltimore Hotel di Providence, Rhode Island.

Tra le opere finaliste segnaliamo i romanzi I Wish I Was Like You di S.P. Miskowski e Ubo di Steve Rasnic Tem, il romanzo breve Agents of Dreamland di Caitlín R. Kiernan e l’antologia The Beauty of Death Vol. 2: Death by Water, pubblicata dalla casa editrice italiana Independent Legions e curata da Jodi Renee Lester e Alessandro Manzetti, quest’ultimo finalista anche con la raccolta di poesie No Mercy.

The Horror Writers Association announced the 2017 Bram Stoker Awards Final Ballot. HWA is the premier organization for writers of horror and dark fantasy.

The presentation of the Bram Stoker Awards will occur during the annual StokerCon at the historical Baltimore Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island, during the gala dinner on March 3rd.

We would like to point out the novels I Wish I Was Like You by S.P. Miskowski and Ubo by Steve Rasnic Tem, the short novel Agents of Dreamland by Caitlín R. Kiernan and the anthology The Beauty of Death Vol. 2: Death by Water, published by  Independent Legions and edited by Jodi Renee Lester and Alessandro Manzetti, who is also a finalist with the poetry collection No Mercy.

NecronomiCon 17 a Providence

Per solleticare la curiosità degli appassionati di horror e weird, annunciamo il prossimo titolo della nuova collana Visioni di Edizioni Hypnos, che sarà pubblicato nel mese di novembre: si tratta della novella In the Lovecraft Museum, di Steve Rasnic Tem, finalista di quest’anno allo Shirley Jackson Awards.

Steve Rasnic Tem è autore americano molto famoso e versatile, le cui radici e influenze affondano profondamente nella tradizione letteraria europea, con autori quali Kafka, Calvino e Buzzati, e che ha  al suo attivo sia romanzi che novelle, senza dimenticare saggi e poesie.

In The Lovecrat Museum sarà disponibile nella collana Visioni, in formato sia cartaceo che elettronico, a partire dalla metà di Novembre.
